Pokemon Black and White sells 2 million copies in 2 weeks

The Pokemon epidemic has yet again hit the United States in rare form. The newest Pokemon duo, Black and White, cleared more than 2 million copies just 48 hours after it's march 6th release. this is just 3 million shy of the amazing record breaking 5 million copies sold in japan.



This new Pokemon offers the same dynamics with some good improvements. There is a new rotation battle that offers a new 3 on 3 battle, graphics have been slightly improved, new mechanics have been introduced to enhance the fun of the game play and there have been an additional 150 Pokemon added which brings the count to a whopping 649 pokemon. Since I haven't played Pokemon in some years, I will not be getting the new versions, but I like to keep up with the new creatures, especially the all powerful and very special ones. Blame it on that little poke fan in me that just won't die.
